My students need a printer and ink cartridges in our classroom so that we can have an efficient classroom and be able to print student and teacher work easily.
My classroom needs a printer. Currently, our closest printer is in the library which is located on the other side of campus. If my classroom had a printer, we could print class compositions. With a printer, I would better be able to communicate with families about upcoming events.
My students are working hard for success.
We are a Title 1 school, and my students need every helping hand we can give them to reach success, because when they succeed they will not merely reach their goals, they will exceed them. They love to share what they are learning in music class. Very often they ask me if they can take the work we do together home with them to share with their families. Having a printer in my classroom would help facilitate their desire to share their learning with their families.
My Project
I am requesting an HP printer and ink cartridges. I plan on using our new printer to help my students share what they learn with their families. We currently have limited access to music notation programs. We write compositions together, and I would like to be able to print these compositions and send them home with students. Additionally, a printer in the music classroom would help me communicate with families in a timely manner. All throughout the year I have to create fliers about upcoming rehearsals and concerts. I also create multiple schedules that are used by the entire school. Being able to print from my classroom would enable me to communicate with both families and fellow teachers more efficiently.
In music instruction it is always a challenge to quantify the learning we do.
Most of our progress is measured only by performances. In reality musicians in my classroom make progress every day. I would love to be able to share with our learning community the activities we are involved in every day. A printer in the music classroom would allow us to print our musical compositions, print pictures of musical activities, and print everyday communication with more efficiency and accuracy.
