We are teaching the children for jobs that have not even been created. Their day is spent engaged in lively lessons. They need a visual reminder of when time is up so they can transition to a new activity with little lost education time.
My students are awesome, they are 4th graders who are eager to learn.
Our school is one of the newer public elementary schools in the county. I have a variety of levels in the classroom and helping with transitions will help those students with disabilities adjust to change easier. Using the chart stand to hold the agendas will help minimize interruptions.
My Project
My students will learn to use a time management system in which they can visually see how long time really is. If you ask a child how long 5 minutes is, most of the time they will respond that it is a lifetime. This tool will focus them on completing their work in an assigned time. It will help with fluency for skills as well. The students will use the chart stand to see their agenda and it is another tool for them to use to create a poster product to express their learning. These are the leaders of tomorrow. Please help me help them reach their highest potential.
We are molding the generation of thinkers and creators.
These students are our future. Please help me help them. These tools are not just tools for them to use, but are tools that will be utilized for classes to come. These are relatively small items in the scheme of a classroom, but they are important in a child's learning.
