Hanging Around Our Clothing Closet

My Students

I am lucky enough to be a specialist at my middle school. Our school is quite large serving around 1000 students. We have students from wide variety of diverse backgrounds that help to weave together the tapestry of our school.

We are working hard to create a supportive and inclusive community of learners.

We want all of our students to reach their full potential in middle school and beyond. The culture that we work to create sets the tone that our students learn to.

My Project

These products will be used to make our clothing closet a functional and appealing space for our students. Right now we have a great deal of donations and a lovely space, but no way for our students to really see what we have.

I want to create a space that helps to maintain the dignity of our students while they are in hardship.

By displaying our donations in a way that resembles a shop we will be able to attain that goal. The hangers are for the clothes, the bookshelf will house toiletries, and the baskets will house undergarments by size. These organizational tools will help to create a space that is inviting for students while being functional for staff to maintain.
