My Project
After a resounding success this past school year that saw all but 3 out of 120 students pass my French virtual course, I am back to ask once again for a generous donor to help me put together study guides for 300 students in Miami Dade schools for the 25-26 school year. These students attend my virtual French class from their schools' computer labs and are often faced with poor wifi and difficulty accessing and organizing their digital course notes. Having bound and ready to fill notes that show them how to organize their learning, is a game changer in ensuring student success. My students are learning French as well as learning how to learn and study. In the age of AI, writing their notes by hand ensures that they are interacting with the course content and using critical thinking skills in sifting information and parsing what is relevant for note taking. This also limits the hurdles to their learning as their school wifi is often down and this makes revising difficult for them.
