My Project
Every year we start off with learning how to write our lowercase letters, since that is what we use more often in our writing. As first graders we are not learning these letters for the first time but this is the year that we try to encourage correct letter formation and break any habits and confusion they may have learned.
Practicing proper letter formation is not only important - it is also boring!
Doodle Helps Handwriting is an engaging way for my first graders to practice proper formation and have a little fun doing it. Starting each day with handwriting practice that is exciting is a positive way for my students to begin their day. Please help me make that possible for my class.
