Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students and I keep in touch every day through zoom meetings. They have limited school materials and some have internet connectivity issues. My students have special needs and need explicit modeling to understand concepts. We never expected to be apart this long and we are learning to navigate through district-mandated websites together.

My Project

The different robotics, coding, and energy sets will help me model and motivate my students to learn about STEAM projects from home. I hope to inspire my students to create something engaging and innovative during these difficult times. The additional building kits will be mailed to them to develop their hands on learning from the comfort of their home. Their parents will also have the opportunity to learn and support their child’s learning. Help me spark my students’ curiosity and make of them future engineers, scientists, and architects as they learn about 21st century skills.
