This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will add to our physical education program. My goal is for my students to have more materials to use as they are learning different sports and activities they can do to increase their physical fitness. Specifically, tennis racquets and volleyballs! Have the right sports equipment will make it easier for my students to learn how to play tennis, volleyball, tetherball, and soccer.

I am the PE teacher at a small elementary school with about 200 amazing students, grade pre-k to fifth.

My students are amazing kids with a lot of energy; these materials will help me to continue to stimulate and motivate them as they master skills and content. I love coming to work each day and watching their excitement when it is time for PE!
