This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember the first time you had the opportunity to experience using the latest technology and not knowing how to use it? Most of my students have faced this issue as well.

My students attend a school that is part of a Title I district.

They live in a community stricken by a high level of poverty. Most of them had never experience any type of technology before attending school. Despite this, they are very ready each morning to conquer anything and everything full force. This group of six and seven year olds is so amazing.

My Project

The selected technology items will be used to offer my students modern technical experiences that are vital to keep up in the changing world. I will incorporate the iPad to enhance lessons each day. I will protect the iPad with the cover. The children will be able to use the Kindle Fire to master reading and build story comprehension skills.

Your contribution will provide an awesome group of first graders with experiences necessary to keep up with the modern technical world.

You will better prepare them for their future educational requirements. And, you will give them what every child deserves and make learning a fun and exciting, as well.
