This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is very busy. My students are very active and have tons of energy. Because of this, we do many hands-on learning activities. My students love STEM projects. They call it " fun science and math."

I have ten boys and nine girls in my class.

They are all very sweet and happy kids. They love to learn and try new things. We all belong to a brand new charter school. This upcoming school year will be our second year open and it is wonderful being a part of a school that is just beginning. We are all working together to create a wonderful new learning environment. The mission of my school is to foster pride in academic achievement for all students. We strive to provide the students with an environment to learn to be successful in a safe and orderly school.

My Project

My students need STEM kits. They will have STEM centers. These resources will help keep my students active and engaged in our daily STEM period. It will also help them practice their math and science skills as they review concepts learned in both math and science.

This project will truly benefit my students because it will allow them more opportunities in the classroom for hands-on STEM activities.

I believe that these resources will be fun, engaging, and a great way for them to learn.
