My students need thermometers, a terrarium and K'NEX to help with our STEM lessons.

My Students
Students at my school are inquisitive and want to learn. We are working on incorporating more STEAM into our daily curriculum.
My students want to learn hands-on.
They are tactile and interactive and want to figure things out.
My students are smart. They learn by doing, creating and investigating. They are busy third graders with wild imaginations and lots of learning to do. We need your help to get the necessary tools we need to make our learning complete now!
My Project
Our science essentials in third grade are heat and light, space, force and motion, and simple machines. Knex Simple Machines and Forces and Energy will help with force and motion and simple machines. Thermometers will help us meet the Common Core Essential of learning about the heat of the sun and its affect on humans. The moon poster and inflatable solar system will help with our essentials with space. All of these things need sharp pencils. We never seem to have enough sharp pencils to do all the work we need to do. The pencil sharpener will keep our minds and pencils sharp.
I often think, "Is it possible to have enough "Hands-On" manipulatives for any subject?" I am trying to integrate all my English Language Arts Essentials into my science and social studies curriculum this year.
I need as many "hands-on" things as I can to have in class experiences and science labs in my classroom. I am excited about letting my students explore with all these new items on my list.
