This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through fun experiments, STEAM learning activities encourage children to hone their observation skills, find patterns, analyze results, and predict outcomes. The STEAM curriculum was designed to allow students to develop essential skills such as creativity, collaboration, and communication and technical skills in areas such as coding, robotics, and engineering. The materials requested will be used during our FREE family STEAM Night event. I am creating an event with over 15 booths for students to attend and interact with. This will only be possible with your generous donation.

Exploration is a key component of maintaining that engagement.

Having these ready-to-use science supplies, such as foam cups, detergent, film canisters, and more is a quick way to get students on board with STEAM education early. Using STEAM education results in students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
