This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This gift card will be used to develop an exciting and hands-on science curriculum. This year, we will study the water cycle, physics, habitats, space, weather and seasons, volcanos, and where we live- the Bay Area. Our curriculum is outdated, and we are only provided with books that are decades old.

All students deserve engaging and interesting science lessons.

I'm using the summer to put together more comprehensive and engaging science units for my students. This gift card will support this work because I will use it to purchase lessons that align with the units we are studying. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!!
