Hands-On Science

My students need a set of 12 Jumbo Specimen Viewers, 1 Magnifier Center, 1 Magnet Discovery Board, 1 set of Color-Changing Touch Squares, 1 set of Super-Safe Prisms, 1 Life Cycle Puzzle Set, 1 set of Magnetic Wands, and 1 Sink or Float Exploration Kit.

I am a kindergarten teacher in South Carolina with 19 children in my classroom. My kindergarten children are smart, happy, and active learners.

The science center is always a popular center for my children to go to in my classroom, but I do not have many materials for them to explore with. My kindergarten children need every opportunity to experiment and explore the world around them. This will help them in every academic area.

My kindergarten children need hands-on science materials. I am proposing to obtain Lakeshore science materials made just for young children. We need a Magnifier Center (containing 6 heavy-duty magnifiers), a Sink or Float Exploration Kit, a set of magnetic wands, and a Magnet Discovery Board. We also need Color-Changing Touch Squares (heat sensitive and super cool), Jumbo Specimen Viewers (to study bugs and other small specimens), Super-Safe Prisms, and a Life Cycle Puzzle Set.

My kindergarten children can begin using these ready made materials right away and begin their explorations. I know my kids will love exploring with these new science center activities! Placing science tools in the hands of Kindergarten children will give them background knowledge for their futures. Help future scientists and inventors by funding Hands-On Science!!
