This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students love to do hands on science lessons, but the materials aren't always available or get misplaced. We want to give our students experiences they might not have at home and in a controlled environment.
We would like to make a STEM kit that teachers can check out to ensure we always have the materials available for students to do hands on activities.
Research shows that students learn better when they can put the learned skill to use through hands on lessons. Students are also able to learn when they are able to be curious and test different hypotheses within real world scenarios.
