The Butterfly kits will allow our students to observe the life cycle of a butterfly through its many stages. They will compare and contrast the stages and the characteristics of the butterfly to what they think a butterfly should look like.
Students will keep journals of their observations and activities that we complete throughout the study.
They will use sentences, pictures, or illustrations to record these observations. Thus, allowing for our many different levels of learning in our classrooms.
This will be both educational and an amazing life lesson for our kiddos. To actually see the stages, will be much more beneficial than just reading about it.
