I teach 4th grade Science at an inner city elementary school. The school is located in a high-need area.
My goal is to offer every child the opportunity to experience hands on engagement, inquiry, investigations, and critical thinking activities in the classroom. Science concepts make sense when you can engage in hands on learning. My students need science manipulatives to explore and make connections.
The Learning Science Tubs include manipulatives for concepts about Force, Motion, Anatomy, Space,Physical Science, Life and Earth Science. The tubs also support the standards of NSTA for elementary science. The activity tubs also include flipbooks, vocabulary cards, and charts. The science tubs will enable my students to participate in hands on science, become critical thinkers, and take ownership of science concepts and make connections.
You are an essential piece in the lives of my students. Your help will provide resources that will build a life time of knowledge, experiences, and connections. Your partnership will enable students to actively engage in science. You will make a difference by supporting hands on science education.
