Hands on Science Integration

My Project

Our 4th grade students are learning about Earth Changes and are reading about earthquakes and volcanoes. We want to integrate what we are reading about in English Language Arts with art, and our science core, by building volcanoes and doing an experiment.

These materials will make it possible for every student to build their own volcano.

This will give all students the opportunity to use their creativity to build the volcano, paint it, and then watch it erupt. We want students to see a model of the changes that happen when a volcano erupts.

This project will be a fun way for students to be able to integrate reading, art, and science.
