My Project
Thank you so much in advance for your generous donation! I am a Science Special Education Teacher that serves a total of 117 students, some with disabilities, that require early learning and sensory accessibility to make science the fun and engaging experience every child deserves even non-reader’s. My students will be exhilarated to have the opportunity to use these engaging science materials in order to develop visual motor, visual perceptual, sensory regulation, and social skills essential for their development.
I am part of a School team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Education Teachers and Speech Therapists who collaborate to treat students with disabilities classifications including and not limited to Autism, Down syndrome, Batten's Disease, Angelman's syndrome, ADHD, and Speech Delays (Grades K-5).
These sensory motor-based building STEAM activities and materials will significantly enhance and facilitate their learning experience during my science class for the entire school.
