My Project

As teachers, we know that science is always put on the back burner. The effects of COVID-19 did not allow for kids to experience the application side of science.

My students will be able to participate in inquiry-based learning to create projects such as motion and force cars and the egg drop, conduct magnetic forces labs, look at and create animal/plant cell slides, show how earthquakes effect our homes and engineering new ones to withstand a man-made earthquake.

I want to ignite a love for science by bringing more hands-on labs and opportunities for my students to make real-world connections, to ignite a passion to ask more questions and want to seek out the answers.

This project will give me more tools to create more labs, rotations, and STEM challenges to get my students more actively engaged.
