My Students

I teach kindergarten in a small rural public school serving 250 students. There are 14 beautiful smiling faces that greet me at my door every morning. It is so much fun to teach kindergarten. My students are all excited to learn new things.

My students deserve the very best and I want learning to be fun and engaging.

I have a wide range of ability in my classroom. Kindergarten is the first exposure to full time school for lots of my students and making learning fun and engaging is very important.

My Project

The market math hands- on learning center will help my students learn their numbers, make patterns, and how to add. The unlock it number match will also help students learn their numbers and will also help with their fine motor skills. The letter crayon word builder will help students build word knowledge and will help enhance their writing skills. The crayon build words will help my students learn consonant vowel consonant words. The tangram picture cards will help my students learn about shapes and will help them with fine motor as well.

All these items will help my students learn number identification, shapes, and word knowledge while keeping them engaged during station time.

My students are very busy and these items are perfect for their busy hands and minds. Kindergarten students want activities that are not paper and pencil. They will take pride in their work and they will know they can achieve anything they put their mind too!
