Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Adapting to learning styles in a special education classroom is key to improving confidence and ability because at the end of the day everyone processes information differently. With these supplies, my students will be able to build their stamina in many academic areas and demonstrate their strengths.

Providing hands on activities can help improve academic achievement.

With lamination sheets and velcro, I will be able to make adaptive binders that will be differentiated for each student to meet their specific needs. Including art in academic lessons engages students and allows them to show their understanding in different ways. Items such as construction paper, glue, mess trays, and more will provide this opportunity and can be incorporated in a variety of projects. Lastly, turn-in organizers will provide the structure for a daily routine that is needed to help the day run efficiently.
