My Project
In first grade we spend the year building foundational reading and writing skills. My first graders are six and seven years old and NEED hands-on learning and hands-on opportunities to practice the phonics skills that we are learning throughout the 180 days we spend together. These materials will allow me to provide them with hands-on reading and writing tasks each day. I use stations in my classroom to differentiate learning for my students and these materials like the word building boards are going to allow me to differentiate learning for my students even further.
