My Project

In my second-grade classroom, I am always looking for ways to make learning exciting, meaningful, and accessible for all students. This project will help me bring the CKLA reading curriculum to life with engaging resources that support deeper understanding and curiosity. Through thoughtful, hands-on learning experiences, my students will be able to connect with challenging topics in a way that feels fun and empowering.

I would love to give my students more hands-on materials that make learning feel like an adventure!

My students will explore important topics such as life cycles in nature, ancient Greek civilization, immigration, civil and women's rights, insects, Greek mythology, early Asian civilizations, and the Civil War. By adding interactive and visually rich materials to our lessons, I hope to help students build stronger connections, stay curious, and fall in love with learning new things.

With your support, I can create a classroom filled with excitement, exploration, and a love for learning. These resources will not only help my students better understand what they read, but will also help them engage with the content they are learning!
