My Project
Middle school students can take an elective called Technology & Society I. This course that teaches them about water infrastructure, power infrastructure, agricultural technology, and transportation infrastructure.
We often use videos from the Practical Engineering series in class, and last year the creator of that series published a book that is appropriate for middle school reading.
I'd like to incorporate more reading into the class, so one of the purchases is for a classroom set of books.
The other component of this project is purchasing six hands-on kits to learn about water filtration and power generation, as well as some demonstration materials for class.
