This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have our students learn first hand the beauty and lifecycle of a seed to plant!

During the spring time I would like to explore seeds and planting with our students.

This project would allow us to do that. The planting kits would allow each of our students to have their own plant. The soil is to make sure we can make our seeds secure and provide the nutrients they need to grow, and the trays are to help keep them safe in our classroom.

With Mother's Day and Father's Day being right around the corner, I want to make sure my students have a special gift to take home to their families. As this pandemic has impacted everyone in so many ways, I think this special project will bring a smile to my students and their family's faces.
