Hands-On Practice for Little Learners!

Help me give my students my hands-on learning activities and learning they can do in small group or "centers". Our students need to manipulate objects and work with letter, numbers, etc., allowing them to experience learning options.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have experienced learning loss due to Covid-19; the majority of the students that these hands-on materials would be used for had their first experience of school be online for almost an entire year. They do have learning loss and gaps and with the hands-on learning that these items will provide will solidify our standards and allow them to more forward to the next grade with more academic "tools" in their toolbox.

With these math, reading, and science items, I will be able to differentiate what the students are doing while in their centers, and be able to practice what they have been taught that is directly tied to the standards while also allowing them to experience the learning in various ways (digital, print, academic play, etc.).
