My Students
I teach a classroom of 5-6-year-olds, who are so excited to learn new things. My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! I teach using Learning Stations for Reading and Math and it is my student's favorite part of the day! Students are learning without even realizing they are learning. Learning stations are fun engaging and teaches lots of social skills.
My Project
I am asking for a sensory table and water beads because I teach young, energetic, and eager kindergarten students. My students learn best through hands-on experience and play. I know that they will not only enjoy this sensory table but it will also make my lessons more memorable for them. There is a variety of materials and lesson ideas to be used throughout the school year, making this a wonderful learning tool for the whole year!
It is so fun to learn in a hands-on way, often without students even knowing they are learning!
Many of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and may not have experience with sensory play in other environments such as preschool or even museums. I would love to provide that experience for them within my classroom where I know they can learn and do their best! When students are having fun learning it brightens up everyone's day.
