This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have an extended half day classroom that includes 17 children and is an inclusion classroom, as teachers we have learn so much from them. Children came to the classroom to explore and grow, using their imagination and creativity by playing and learning at the same time. For many of the students being exposed to different materials and activities help them to develop their fine motors, language and social emotional skills. Having a safe and secure environment helps them to feel confidents and build a good relationship with each other.

My Project

In the areas that my students struggle more is in the block area and science area, this year I have 17 children and most of them are 3 years old and is been a challenge for them to stay focus in one area for more than five minutes. As a teacher I notice that they talk about how big dinosaurs are and we only have little ones, also in block area some children play with the wooden block but we have little quiet once that they get hurt easily or wanted to play something more quietly. We don't have a doll house and we think that it will be something that they really can enjoy.

Having a doll house in the block area and Big soft dinosaurs will be something that the three years old children will love.With the doll house they can express their emotions and felling.

Having little dolls they re-act what they are learning and we as teacher can find out how they emotions are, just by observing and lessening to their play .
