This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This Summer l learned about science and research based methods of teaching letter recognition and sound knowledge.
By providing students with these hands on Phonics tools each students can have hands on materials to help them learn letter order, upper case and lower case correspondence, plus provide students with opportunities to pull letters down to form words and practice writing those words as well.
Investing in literacy in Kindergarten guarantees students success in learning in later grades and the rest of their life. Help me create strong literate leaders for the future of our country!
