My Project
Every day I am given the opportunity to work with many amazing students, and sometimes my students need alternative methods of instruction to be successful.
This project allows my students to be active learners, to hold the letter in their hand and feel the shape, while also using a variety of tools to make words.
This project with tactile letters and magnetic letters and boards allows me to merge direct instruction with opportunities to work with letters and words in a hands-on approach both independently and with a peer.
Students working together have opportunities to help one another learn in a safe environment both academically and socially.
This classroom project was brought to life by Arizona Department of Education.
