Hands-On, Minds-On: Interactive Fun for Kinder Stars!
Help me give my students hands-on, interactive learning materials to support their development, engagement, and understanding through active, play-based experiences.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, imaginative, and eager my kindergarteners are to explore the world around them. Every day, they come to school with bright eyes and big questions, ready to learn through play, movement, and discovery. Because most of my students are English learners from underserved communities, hands-on, interactive materials are especially powerful tools for them to engage deeply with concepts and language. These resources will help bring lessons to life—whether it’s counting with colorful manipulatives, learning letters through tactile games, or building fine motor skills with creative tools. With your support, my students will get the chance to learn in ways that are active, joyful, and developmentally meaningful.
