This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a group of fun, curios and eager-to-learn students who are struggling to learn some of the basic skills of first grade math such as addition, subtraction and place value. These students are kinesthetic learners and are in constant need of movement and play time.

I will use the resources to engage my students in learning the concepts through games and fun activities that will help them learn by playing and actually enjoy the learning process.

I will also create math stations using the games that can help them practice and master these skills.
