My Students

I teach in a very small community - one elementary, one middle, and one high school. Many supplies and other supports come from the community, teachers, or outside resources. I want to be sure my students can experience learning in effective ways. They’ve had to learn so much as a result of school closures in March 2020.

My Project

As we close out this trying year, I want my students to have more fun in the classroom than worry. Months were cut off of their fourth grade year that no one saw coming- therefore essential knowledge wasn’t taught. I want to make sure my students learn learn those skills and more!

We have particular units coming in math and science that can be more impactful with hands-on experience and practice.

Learning kinesthetically has proven to be quite beneficial with my fifth graders. Kinesthetic fun is even more impactful!
