My Students

Have you ever had 18 people give everything they have to give, day in and day out? Have you felt the unconditional love 18 students give towards their teacher and peers and have a love of learning and want to academically do their best each and every day?

Welcome to my amazing classroom, located in the inner city of Buffalo.

We are part of Buffalo Public Schools and our school has a large percentage of students from low-income homes. We have the second-largest percentage of English as a new language learner in the district. As their teacher, I need to go above and beyond to give all my students hands-on, engaging, exciting resources so they can academically strive!

DonorsChoose helps make academics easier with educational materials that will give my students more resources for learning. I am thankful for this program, and the smiles it will give my students daily!

My Project

Pre-K is all about exploration and hands-on learning! These amazing materials will help my students get back to having small group centers.

With these math manipulatives, my students will be able to have more hands-on learning experiences.

The math-centered games and tools will help focus on targeted skills. These activities that I chose will be fun but also educational to use in small group time and center areas that will engage any level of learners. The use of manipulatives and materials is needed in the classroom to show concrete representation of Math concepts.

I am excited to bring new and exciting manipulatives to our classroom to watch each child's imagination grow.
