This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My In my first-grade classroom, students are excited to explore the world of numbers and math facts, but they need hands-on tools to make learning engaging. Math can sometimes feel intimidating, so using games and activities will keep them motivated and help them understand key concepts in a playful, active way.

Math games are a fantastic way to teach students key skills like addition, subtraction, number sense, and problem-solving.

Through interactive games, students will learn to think critically, strategize, and collaborate—all while having fun. These games will give them hands-on experiences to apply what they're learning in an engaging and effective way.

The dry erase boards will allow my students to practice math problems, solve equations, and work on their handwriting skills, all while having immediate feedback and opportunities to correct their mistakes. The whiteboards are perfect for small-group work and individual practice, allowing students to be actively involved in learning throughout the day.

To keep our classroom organized and maximize space, plastic storage bins will help us keep all of these materials neatly stored and easily accessible. The bins will allow us to keep math games, whiteboards, and other resources organized so that students can quickly access the tools they need during lessons.
