This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I provide services to students who live in our wonderful Harlandale ISD community. Students serviced are identified as Tier 2 and Tier 3 students in Mathematics. My students range from grades 1st through 5th. My day consists of servicing various small groups with hands on instruction to bridge and close gaps.

My Project

These resources will help our struggling Tier 2 and Tier 3 students in mathematics. The purpose of using hands-on math activities to ensure students have a conceptual understanding of math that will follow them throughout their educational career.

These students are already identified as struggling learners, small group instruction and conceptualized learning is vital to their success.

I will use researched based activities with the use of these items to reach as many students as I can as a Response to Intervention Math Teacher. Please, help me reach my goal.
