Deserving kids are so excited to learn using today's technology. With no technology in the home, they rely on us to provide experience at school.

Our class was lucky enough to receive 3 computers for the classroom last year. The problem is that they are normal desktops that you would buy for your home. We need to upgrade the computers with Microsoft Office Suite so that the kids have more functionality in the programs they use.

Using the professional version will expose students to a truer version of the programs that they will come into contact with in the workforce later. They will be able to gain early experience that will give them more of an advantage later in an office environment. We'll use the programs simultaneously with our math lessons. Students will be able to learn about graphing, creating tables and using functions while reinforcing math concepts.

These kids don't often have a computer at home so our classrooms are the only place where they are exposed to technology on a daily basis. Please help me to bring the world to them so that they are better able to succeed in the real world.
