My Project

My 5th grade students are bright, curious, and eager to learn—but many come from low-income households and don’t have access to the tools they need to succeed. As their teacher, I want to provide them with a learning environment that sparks curiosity and builds confidence, especially in math.

This project will fund essential math manipulatives like base-ten blocks, fraction tiles, place value charts, number lines, and dry-erase materials.

These hands-on tools will allow my students to explore complex math concepts in a concrete way, turning abstract ideas into something they can see, touch, and truly understand.

With your support, my classroom will become a space where math makes sense, and where every student has the opportunity to grow and thrive. These resources won’t just support academic achievement—they’ll help build a lifelong love for learning.
