Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an incredible group of students who are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. They thrive when given hands-on opportunities to explore new concepts, especially in math. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many face challenges outside the classroom, but they never let that stop them from striving for success.
This project will provide engaging math manipulatives to help my students build a deeper understanding of key concepts through hands-on learning.
With tools like place value blocks, fraction tiles, and pattern blocks, they can visualize and interact with math in a meaningful way. These resources will support all learners, including my ESL and ESE students who need extra reinforcement, as well as those ready for enrichment.
In addition to manipulatives, I am requesting incentive prizes to keep my students motivated and excited about their progress. Small rewards can go a long way in fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging perseverance.
My goal is to make math accessible, engaging, and fun for every student. With your support, my students will develop confidence in their math skills and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime!
