My Project
Math is used in every day life in various ways! Building math understanding and fluency early on is vital to understanding more complex math practices. Students are already engaging in differentiated instruction during math DI time, either independently or with a teacher. These activities will help them become independent learners reinforcing skills that are vital to math numeracy and fluency.
Game based, hands-on learning not only provides students with opportunities to improve math fluency and skills, it provides them with fine motor practice and time to build social skills.
These games and activities will help students build fact fluency and numeracy skills while working independently and with others in their groups.
