Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students who are new to school and many do not know their shapes. I am hoping to provide them with experiences in my learning centers that with have them learn the concept of shapes.

My students are curious learners and learn best through using hands on materials.

With these materials they can learn about shapes. They can make different playdough characters with the help of the playdough shapes character accessories. They will learn their shapes and numbers with the shape clock. The can be creative while building with the Slot-A-Shape Builders.

They can develop fine motor skills when using the shape lacing cards. They can play a fun seek the shape cookie jar game with the shape cookies. They will make pictures using the shape tin activity.

These materials will be a great additions to our classroom and my students will be excited to use them.
