Help me give my students hands on materials for phonics and math by incorporating the Touch and Read Word Match (phonics) and having a class set of number line sliders and easy to read rulers (math).
My students are unique and talented individuals. They come to school looking for routine, expectations, a positive environment, and a supporting teacher. My students deserve the best that I can offer them. They are always ready to learn, excited to explore, and love opportunities that allow for movement and hands on exploration.
My Project
Students learn best by touching, feeling, manipulating hands on materials. I would like to provide numerous opportunities to explore a variety of learning materials in all subject areas.
The phonics materials being requested is a complete set.
Students would develop a routine and knowledge of how to use the materials with the teacher but also be able to use them for guided or independent learning.
The math materials being requested are hands on materials. The moveable number lines and rulers will be especially useful for students to use during math time.
