Help me give my students objects to touch for multi-sensory learning to teach phonological awareness, which is the most important skill for reading. These alphabet sounds picture puzzles and teaching tubs will give my students another learning option other than paper and pencil.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergartners come from a low income area and will greatly benefit from the hands-on activities provided by working on the alphabet sounds picture puzzles and teaching tubs I have requested.
I want to give my students different opportunities to touch and feel colorful physical objects that are fun to learn with.
These resources will teach my students important reading skills, and they won't even realize that they are learning.
Please help me get my students some fun hands-on resources that they will love using. My students will sort these objects for beginning sounds, last sounds, and middle sounds, which are very important skills for beginning reading.
