Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic and eager learners! They are seven and eight-year-olds who come to school each day excited to play and learn. My goal each year is to create a fun and conducive learning environment for all my students.
My Project
I'm requesting a hands-on phonics bundle which includes everything my students need for practice. My students will practice word families, build, and sound out words. They will write the words on mini boards and use magnetic letters. They will use the touch & read match-ups to master CVC words, blends, digraphs, and vowel sounds.
Hands-on manipulatives will provide practice in a fun and engaging way!
My students will use the base ten blocks and counters to practice place value. They will be able to practice addition, subtraction and more! The counters are red on one side and blue on the other so they’re perfect for counting, making ten and operations. Thank you for considering our project.
