Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom will serve many Kinder Sped students that have been diagnosed with Autism. The students in our district are mostly English Language Learners.

My students have different individual needs and learning goals.

We will work on various developmental areas to serve their needs, such as language development, gross/fine motor development, emotional development, academic development, and social skills.

My Project

These materials will help my students in different areas such as literacy, mathematical and sensory! The trays, shaving cream and construction trucks will help expand our exploration through sensory. Some of my students have high sensory needs and having time to engage with sensory activities help them be engaged in learning and regulate. The flip books will help supporting students learning to read. The counting mats will help students learning to count! Having these materials will enhance student learning and engagement in our classroom while enjoying learning! Thank you!
