My Project

My PreK students are energetic and eager to come to school to learn. My classroom is at a magnet school in an urban district, where my students are provided with 100% free breakfast and lunch. My classroom makeup is a blend of general education, special education, and English Language Learners. The students in my class have a strong desire to learn new topics and grow as independent learners. I am always looking for ways to make my classroom as engaging and as exciting as possible through hands-on learning experiences.

My students love using sensory enriched activities; they gravitate towards finger squeezing eye captivating stations because it takes them into a fantasy world of endless possibilities.

With these supplies you can provide sensory fun with cars, bubbles, bunny fun, magnets, pop-its, mystery boxes, and more. The requested books would also provide my students with books about diversity and mindfulness.

I love watching my students' eyes light up when I switch over materials in the stations with new exciting materials that they can explore with. The materials requested in this project will enhance their creativity, scientific inquiry skills, self-soothing skills, and also enrich a love of literacy and math.
