This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student can learn at their own level and build on their knowledge using open ended materials that support best practices in early childhood.

My students love to play and explore using building materials and new games.

Students have hands on opportunities to learn science, language arts, and math concepts through play. We currently do not have a ton of options for our toy area. Providing building toys and other games will help my students grow their understanding of STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering and math) as well as literacy as they experiment with these toys.
