This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Daily 5" is our favorite time of the day in kindergarten when they are in small groups with each other to practice and work on skills they are learning in class. It is important to have a collection of multi-sensory materials for my students to use to help them work on targeted phonics and phonemic awareness skills. The Hands2Mind kit aligns to the Science of Reading which has all the manipulatives for my students to use for a more engaging, hands-on discovery learning opportunities.

Reading manipulatives cater to multiple learning styles in the classroom.

The Hands2Mind kit provides amazing resources for students to use not only during literacy centers but also with me during small groups reading time. Having the opportunity to have reading manipulatives to be used in multiple ways in the classroom increases students' engagement in the learning process. Engaged students are learning and developing a love for reading. I hope you will consider funding my project!
