Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia require clear, hands-on learning that solidifies their understanding of new concepts. Learning is difficult, but it does not have to be boring. Play-Doh, moon-sand, and learning games can bring fun (and maybe even enjoyment) to skills that are so challenging for this population.

It is extremely valuable academically and socially/emotionally that students with learning disabilities have the same opportunities to practice their skills, independently within their classroom.

With phonic-based puzzle tasks and activities involving number sense that are organized in a systematic way, will enable this group of students to actively engage in their own learning.
