My Students

Third grade is a great time to learn lots of new things. Sometimes it is hard for students to do their work on paper and in books all day long. I like to get my students involved in what they are learning and do it in different ways.

Each student learns in a different way.

This is what makes all of us so interesting and it is okay. Everyone is unique in their own way. We help each other along the way by being kind and honest.

We like to have morning meetings where everyone can share their thoughts and ideas. This helps us to build class community. I want to help my students learn in whatever ways help them most. I love all my students and want what is best for them.

My Project

I teach about fifty students and they all have different likes and opinions. One thing they all have in common is that they love doing anything that involves physically working or building with their hands. They love being challenged and being able to play and have fun at the same time.

I want my students to have opportunities to be able to be creative and problem solve.

My students are in the Dual Language Immersion program which means that they learning in English for half the day and then in Spanish for the other half. Their days are so busy and quick paced that they do not have very much free time.

My students could use these materials during independent work time but still focus on what they are learning. I have wonderful students and they deserve to have fun opportunities learn and grow.
